Equilibrium is very close to my heart – I have been working on microbiome for the skin for years looking for a way to soothe the skin when itchy and dry. Rashes and infections are a problem for my many dogs and one of the ways to soothe that is to re-establish the skin microbiome to its original balance.
Microbiome dysbiosis is evident in skin when there is a bacterial or fungal infection. Also a disbalance has been seen in skin of dogs suffering from allergies and rashes. So researchers have also found that re-introducing various bacterial strains back on the skin, with repeat applications in a daily basis helps the skin find its balance. Also it is advised to NOT use harsh shampoos and harsh chemicals and antibacterials and anti-fungals with this protocol.

This Spray works really well when used everyday – twice a day. Simply part the hair and spray into the skin, or – if you dog doesn’t like this then, take 4-6 sprays in your palm, and use your hands to apply the solution to the skin.
We are recommending 2 methods of using Equilibrium for best results –
use the scoop provided to take the desired quantity – add to a 50ml or 100ml spray bottle and add filtered RO water, and shake well. Use this spray to apply tot he skin twice a day. Store the bottle in the fridge and use over 4 days. Then make a fresh bottle.
Use the scoop to take the desired quantity into a bath mug and add lukewarm water and mix well. After the bath, post rinsing off the shampoo, you can use tis mixture to give the final soak. Treat it like a leave in conditioner. massage it into the skin and let the dog shake off the excess and then towel dry the dog. Avoid using hot dryers post this treatment room temperature or cool setting blowers are fine.
If you bathe your dog once or twice a month or weekly – you can do the soak method that time and use the spray on method on all other days.
